With the success of their retail vision and after the return of two of their sons, Bill and Ken, to the family business, Tom and Mary decided to expand Monterey Market, purchasing the former Louis Store at 1550 Hopkins Street. Since 1980, this site has been the location of Monterey Market, providing produce as well as groceries, dairy, wine, beer, and sundries to its customers.
Although Tom and Mary are now deceased, Bill and Ken Fujimoto continue to run the family business in the spirit and memory of their parents.
