- Denver-bound trains have been arriving at this station since June 1, 1881. Back when the city was first linked to the Transcontinental Railroad in 1870, each railroad company had its own depot.
- As of April the station construction is still a mess. There is a good parking structure across the street (1660 wynkoop), if you can't find street parking.
- Did you know? The Union Depot and Railroad Company built the city's first Union Station. It cost $525,000 and opened on June 1,1881.
