- The historic bridge here recently underwent a complete rehabilitation and restoration. The bridge was built in 1905.
- Did you know? In 1806, William Clark (of Lewis & Clark fame) took a detour from their Columbia River journey to paddle up the Willamette, claiming for the U.S. the land that is now Forest Park.
